Note from SFS LT Nominator:
In line with PMI’s vision of achieving a smoke-free future and the region’s commitment towards digitalizing the operating model, the nominated team has been tasked with the mission of designing and establishing a digital-enabled Commercial Hub in Istanbul. The Hub is set to become a center of excellence for MEA&DF, offering standardized, flexible, and scalable commercial services powered by data analytics for the purpose of enabling deeper insight into our customers and revenue growth. As of date, the team has steadfastly executed on the initial pilot phase starting with PMIDF to be scaled to the remaining clusters throughout 2022.

As a team, we have come together from four different countries to put our heart and soul into this project with the deep desire to bring more value to the company.

Our Mission:
To create a digitally enabled center of excellence for MEA&DF in a streamlined commercial operating model to support the deployment and operations of commercial activities.
The Team’s Contributions:
Paula: lead the program for the implementation of a Commercial IBS function for the MEA&DF Region, which has as objective the centralization and transfer of commercial back-office activities from markets/clusters to Commercial IBS and working closely with Regional Management, Markets/Clusters and IBS to achieve the objective.
Faysal: design and transform ways of working between the region, the IBS, and the markets to strengthen our effectiveness and leverage on our efficiencies.
Magda: set-up the commercial IBS teams with highly talented individuals to support the market and enable value-added activities at market level.
Ada: set the scene for the project team to perform at their best, connect the dots at the program level, and ensure PMI PBO approach is followed to deliver optimal business outcomes.
Dagmara: bring forth transparency by defining and supporting business processes and identifying key data requirements for proper project functioning.
Edyta: establish a change network to facilitate migration period, ensure transparency in process and people-related change, get key stakeholders buy-in, enable leadership support to guide teams and equip with necessary tools, and create a compelling change story to create sense of urgency and need for change.
Jarek: generate new value through analytics products and related services on the look-out for opportunities.
Krystyna: ensure full-fledged migration of activities from market to the IBS, provide detailed overview of the migration process for resource planning at market level, and establish proper project governance.
Samar: model business case scenarios and identify levers for revenue uplift centered around digital capabilities.
